Information you provide

When you call, text, or email me, or ask about a discovery flight, lessons, or club membership, I receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, scheduling preferences, and questions about training. Payments for instruction are handled by Stripe, which collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, analytics and advertising tools collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, referring website, time on site, and interactions like clicks on call, text, email, or booking links.

Analytics, advertising, and security tools

Google Analytics helps me understand site traffic and how visitors use the pages. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Meta Pixel measures the results of my Facebook and Instagram ads and lets Meta show ads to people who visited or interacted with this site. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare helps deliver, speed up, and secure this site. It processes visitor IP addresses and request data and may set cookies for security. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts loads the site's typefaces from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.

Cookies and similar technologies

These tools use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize your browser and measure site and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage ad preferences in your Meta ad settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

How I use information

To respond to inquiries, schedule discovery flights and lessons, and provide instruction; to understand how the site is used and improve it; to measure and improve my advertising; to keep the site secure and prevent abuse; and to meet legal obligations.

How information is shared

I share information with the service providers described above, and with Countrywide Flyers and FlightCircle when needed to arrange aircraft and club membership. I do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws treat advertising and analytics cookies as “sharing” or “selling” personal information; you can opt out using the browser and ad controls above or by contacting me. I may disclose information if required by law. This site links to third-party sites, such as lenders, AOPA, and FlightCircle, whose privacy practices are their own.

Retention and security

I keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each provider's settings. I use reasonable safeguards, but no website or method of transmission is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete personal information I hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing or calling me. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and I will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
